Brand Manager

Purpose:

The Brand Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing effective brand strategies to drive growth and achieve business objectives.  This role requires a deep understanding of the CPG market, consumer behaviour, and competitive landscape.  The Brand Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure brand consistency and alignment with overall company goals.

 

JOB DESCRIPTION
 

Brand Strategy Development

·         Develop and execute brand strategies that align with company objectives and market trends.

·         Conduct market research to identify consumer insights, market opportunities, and competitive positioning.

 

Product Management

·         Collaborate with design agencies, internal teams, and suppliers to create packaging that aligns with brand identity and enhances the consumer experience.

·         Collaborate with R&D, supply chain, and sales teams to ensure successful product launches and promotions.

 

Marketing Campaigns

·         Plan and execute marketing campaigns across various channels including in-store and on-line.

 

Brand Communication

·         Develop compelling brand messages and content that resonate with target audiences.

·         Ensure brand consistency across all communication platforms and materials.

 

Tradeshows

·         Collaborate with design agencies, event planners and the marketing/sales teams to create engaging and visually appealing tradeshow designs and tradeshow materials.

·         Where required attend tradeshows to represent the company, engage with attendees, and ensure the brands are effectively promoted.

·         Analyze tradeshow performance and gather feedback for continuous improvement.

 

Sales Support

·         Work closely with the sales team to develop sales tools, presentations, and promotional tools.

·         Provide training and support to sales teams on brand positioning and product features.

 

Financial Management

·         Manage brand budgets and ensure effective allocation of resources.

 

Partnerships, Sponsorships and Collaborations

·         Identify and manage strategic partnerships, sponsorships and collaborations that enhance brand visibility and growth.

·         Negotiate contracts and agreements with external partners.

 

Market Analysis

·         Stay informed about industry trends, consumer preferences, and competitive activities.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

 

·         Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.

·         5+ years of experience in brand management preferably in the CPG industry

·         Strong analytical skills

·         Excellent communication and presentation skills

·         Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

·         Experience in package design, tradeshow management, and market research coordination.

·         Strategic thinker with the ability to develop long term strategies and plans.

·         Knowledgeable with graphic design and experience in MS Office and various Adobe products.

·         The Brand Manager will have a consistently positive attitude and a cooperative team approach to work and will act as an ambassador for our brands.

·         Travel required.

·         Overtime as required
